Today's guest is Former Navy Seal commander, Monty Heath!
Its mental health awareness month and we could not have selected a better guest. We had no idea where this episode would go but we knew if you have someone of this caliber the stories would be unbelievable, and BOY WERE THEY!
At 16, Monty joined the delayed-entry and dive-farer programs, to become a US Navy SEAL. After multiple combat deployments with Naval Special Warfare Development Group, he honorably discharged from the teams to start a family and enter the civilian marketplace.
From there he led the US Navy’s SEAL Mentorship Program and the BUD/S Preparatory Program - the first two steps in the SEAL candidates' training pipeline. Monty then managed executive protection details for Forbes 400 families, as well as a 614,000 acre eco-resort. For the past five+ years, Monty has passionately supported the veteran community through non-profit organizations such as VETtoCEO and Higher Ground. He is currently on a mission to do the RAAM to bring awareness and raise funds for Veterans and first responders who suffer from mental illness.
If you can help Monty in his efforts to help veterans and first responders, please go to their website https://alignedalliance.org/
